Our Process Explained
Design & Proposal
Using the most recent copy of your electric bill we’ll design a system that is tailored to your specific needs based off of your current usage. We will then provide you with a detailed proposal that includes the cost of the system, the estimated savings on your energy bills, and any available incentives or rebates.
Finance & Approvals
If you decide to move forward with the proposal, we will help you explore financing options and assist you with any necessary approvals, such as permits from your local government. All formalities and signing of agreements take place at this stage in the process. Lastly, we’ll schedule your site survey to assess the home.
Site Survey
On the agreed upon scheduled date and time one of our site technicians will visit your home or property. The purpose of this step is to validate that the roof and main electrical panel can support your solar powered system. If any upgrades are required your designated Sensa Energy Consultant will address them with you.
Installation
Once all approvals are in place and finalized, we will schedule a time for our team of experienced installers to install your solar panels. The installation process typically takes a single day, and we will work carefully and efficiently to minimize any disruption to your home or business. Congrats on going solar!
Final Inspection
At this stage in the process we will schedule a date and time for a representative at your local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to fully inspect the work that was completed on your property. Once inspection is passed your system is activated.
Permission To Operate
After your solar energy system is installed and activated, we will apply for Permission To Operate (PTO) from your local utility company. Once we receive PTO, you will be able to start using the electricity generated by your solar panels.
